The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 is not coming to Amazon in January 2022

We’re almost into a new month. It’s also a new year. The bad news is that it won’t bring The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 to Amazon Prime Video.

As excited we are for 2022, there is a little bit of bad news for the start of the year. We’ve double-checked the list of arrivals on Amazon Prime Video and there is one show we’d love to see not on the list.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 is not going to arrive next month. This isn’t all too surprising. After all, we have a premiere date now. It didn’t stop us hoping for a slight change of plan, though, right?

The new season is going to premiere on Friday, Feb. 18, 2022. We’re not waiting too much longer for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4.

The show is getting a different style of release than we’re used to. We’ll get to watch two episodes every Friday over the course of four weeks. Yes, there are only eight episodes to the season.

It looks like Amazon has liked the way the ratings have been for shows getting the weekly release format. This is an odd hybrid release, though, even for Amazon Prime Video. Most of the time we get a bulk of episodes on the first Friday and then a weekly release of one episode per week from that point.

What to expect on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4

The fourth season will see Midge focus on growing her career. She had a setback at the end of Season 3, but she’s not letting that stop her from achieving her dreams. That means getting Susie to make her the headlining act.

Meanwhile, Joel will need to figure out his new relationship. Something that’s worth remembering is that we’re in a time where interracial relationships were frowned upon. There’s no way Joel’s parents will accept his new girlfriend, but he wants them to meet her anyway.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 is coming to Amazon Prime Video on Friday, Feb. 18.
