We’re into the final season of The Expanse, and it’s already exciting. How long do we need to wait for The Expanse Season 6, Episode 2?

We won’t share any spoilers from the premiere in this post. We get it that some of you are just waiting for the full season to be available to binge-watch it all at once. And there are others who may just not have had time for the first episode this weekend yet.

Let’s just say that the episode didn’t disappoint. The ending left us needing more, which is why we need to know when we’ll be able to watch it.

The Expanse Season 6, Episode 2 release time on Amazon Prime Video

The new episode will drop at the end of the week. The official release date is Friday, Dec. 17. With it being a global original, the official release time is midnight GMT.

Being in North America, the time zones work in our favor. There is a very good chance that we’ll see the release a little earlier. We should get the episode at around 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, Dec. 16.

This isn’t guaranteed. Like with any Amazon Original, the show could be held until midnight local. However, there are a lot of shows that do drop early. We saw the first episode of The Expanse Season 6 drop early, and it’s happened with Hanna Season 3, The Wheel of Time, and much more recently.

There’s no reason to think the early release won’t happen. However, just keep in mind that it could be Friday night. With only one episode, it’s going to be easy to stay up for to watch it.
