The wait for The Boys Season 3 continues, but there is some exciting news. We’re getting an animated spin-off to help us through the break.

We’re still waiting for The Boys Season 3. That wait continues, and it looks like it’s not going to be until later into 2022 that we’ll get to see the episodes. This isn’t surprising when you consider the amount of post-production that will be needed on this series.

However, Eric Kripke and his team have thought about our wait. They’re trying to make it a lot easier than it could have been by bringing us a spin-off series.

We’ll get to see an animated spin-off, The Boys: Diabolical.

What is The Boys: Diabolical about?

We don’t get to know too much about the animated series. All we know right now is that we’ll get untold stories from within the world. It’s not clear if they’ll include any of the main characters, but there is a certain dog in the video reveal.

Some of the biggest names in Hollywood right now are involved in this series. This includes Awkwafina, Andy Amberg, Aisha Tyler, and Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogan. They’ve each written episodes of their own, bringing us focuses on some of the characters from the universe that they likely love the most.

They all got one rule for creating the series…there are no rules! The creators got full control over the journey of their episodes.

There will be eight episodes to the animated series. It’s set to arrive sometime in early 2022.

This is the second spin-off in The Boys universe. We have a college-set series that focuses on the younger superheroes learning their powers and how to “save” the world.
