Carnival Row Season 2 is not coming to Amazon in December 2021

When it comes to fantasy shows, we’re certainly waiting for more from Carnival Row. The wait for Carnival Row Season 2 continues.

We’re certainly ready to see more of our favorite Amazon shows. 2021 has been quiet due to the delays in filming. The pandemic made it almost impossible for a lot of shows to film during 2021, and that had a knock-on effect on the release dates.

Carnival Row is one of those shows that was faced with a delay. It’s not all too surprising to find out that Carnival Row Season 2 isn’t coming in December 2021, but that doesn’t mean we’re not disappointed. We had hoped for a Christmas miracle, but that’s not the case.

Carnival Row Season 2 release date predictions

There had been talks of releasing the season in two parts. That doesn’t look like it’s happening now, and it could be linked to the filming schedule for Orlando Bloom. When everyone else returned to filming, he didn’t due to Katy Perry expecting their first child.

Filming has wrapped. This is great news as it means the show is in the post-production stage, and we should see it arrive in 2022 at some point. The question now is when that will happen.

We just don’t have a prediction just yet. Right now, everything seems to be wrapping up filming. That means it looks like everything could be ready to release on Amazon at the same time. Amazon isn’t going to release everything at once though, right? It’s likely to space out the new content to avoid a problem of nothing new arriving at the end of the year.

We’ll be sure to keep an eye on the release of this series. We’re hoping to see it before the summer of 2022. After all, Amazon will want to spread out its fantasy shows, and we already know Lord of the Rings is going to debut in September 2022.
