Spencer starring Kristen Stewart is coming to DVD and Blu-ray in January 2022
Spencer has only just recently been released in theaters, but it already has a DVD and Blu-ray release date. Get ready for January 2022.
Kristen Stewart takes on the role of Lady Diana Spencer, who would go on to become Diana, Princess of Wales. She was the People’s Princess in the UK, and we’ve seen a glimpse of what she went through via The Crown on Netflix. Spencer gives us another look.
The movie focuses on her time as Prince Charles’s wife and mother to William and Harry. She arrives at Sandringham excited to see her sons despite being worn down by Charles’s affair with Camilla Parker-Bowles. While there, she has to make it look like her and Charles’s marriage is still a happy one, but that’s much easier said than done.
She can’t pretend anymore. As the holiday continues, Diana’s anxiety and depression spiral out of control. It’s time to make one of the hardest decisions she’ll ever have to make. One that could have consequences for the British throne as well as her family.
Spencer DVD release date
Despite only coming out in theaters on Nov. 5, the movie already has a DVD release date. You can get Spencer on DVD and Blu-ray from Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022.
