When is Ghostbusters: Afterlife coming to DVD and Blu-ray?

With the original cast returning to the movie, there’s no doubt you want to add Ghostbusters: Afterlife to your DVD and Blu-ray collection. When will that be possible?

Ghostbusters is one of the best franchises around. Everyone has heard about it, and parents very quickly introduce their children to it. Now it’s time to add another movie to your collection.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife is currently out in theaters. It’s only just come out, and it’s only in theaters right now. As more theaters open, more studios are opting to respect the theatrical window. That does mean there’s a bit of a wait on our hands for the DVD and Blu-ray release.

We don’t have a set date just yet, which isn’t surprising. We can make an educated guess on when the movie will come out.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife DVD and Blu-ray release date predictions

The movie is a Sony Pictures movie. We’re going to look at The Unholy and Don’t Breathe 2 to get an idea as to when Ghostbusters: Afterlife could head to DVD and Blu-ray.

The movies took about two and a half months to go from theaters to DVD. We could see something similar here. However, with the potential success of the latest Ghostbusters movie, we could see Sony wait a full three months to make the most of the Box Office success. We’re probably looking at early to mid-February 2022 for this movie to head to DVD and Blu-ray.

What about Digital? This is usually a couple of weeks before the DVD and Blu-ray release, and that’s what we’re expecting for this movie. If it’s not out to purchase early, it will be by the DVD release date. After all, the DVD and Blu-ray box sets always come as combo packs with the Digital codes.
