It’s another Thursday night, and that means staying up for new episodes of your favorite Amazon shows. Is I Know What You Did Last Summer new tonight?

With the success of The Boys, The Expanse, and Invincible, Amazon is moving into the hybrid release model for its shows more and more. I Know What You Did Last Summer is one of the most recent to get a hybrid release format, and now you’re ready for a new episode.

There were a lot of major reveals at the end of the previous episode. We found out who had killed everyone, but that person didn’t necessarily get caught. And we can’t help but question what those eyes on a certain presumed dead teen opening mean for the next episode.

But is there a new episode tonight? Sadly, that’s a negative. There isn’t a new episode of I Know What You Did Last Summer on tonight.

Why isn’t there a new episode of I Know What You Did Last Summer on tonight?

There’s one very simple reason for the lack of new episode, and it’s got nothing to do with COVID protocols. The previous episode was the Season 1 finale. That was the reason for all those big reveals.

The cliffhanger ending makes it clear that there are plans for more. Now it’s up to Amazon whether there will be a second season or not. We have a lot of questions for that second season, so we’re hoping to see it! We’ll be sure to keep an eye on any updates for this series.

As for now, Amazon is starting a new original show. The Wheel of Time‘s first three episodes will arrive at midnight tonight. They may be available a little earlier like we see with the majority of Amazon Original Series.
