5 big questions for I Know What You Did Last Summer Season 2

We don’t know if I Know What You Did Last Summer Season 2 is going to happen, but these are the burning questions for it to answer if it does.

The I Know What You Did Last Summer Season 1 finale certainly left us guessing about how it was all going to end. Would it be the standard horror series that sees the killer captured or killed at the end? Would it offer us a twist?

In the end we got the twist. It wasn’t that surprising to find out that Margot was the killer. It was surprising to see her get away with it and Dylan be the one arrested for it. Then there was the twist at the very end that sees Riley’s eyes open. Does this mean Riley is still alive or was it one of those muscle things that can happen after death?

There are a lot of big questions after the finale. Here are the five biggest that need answering if I Know What You Did Last Summer Season 2 happens.

1. Can Margot and Allison actually trust each other?

Let’s just start with the fact that Margot has got away with it all. Allison lied for Margot, telling the chief that Dylan stabbed her. It’s crazy that she would even consider doing this, but she did it to protect herself. She had to keep up the lie that she’s Lennon.

Margot and Allison are now together. They don’t want to lose each other, but after everything that happened, can they actually trust each other?

2. Will Dylan fight for his freedom or just work on getting revenge?

Dylan didn’t do it, but all the blame has been put on him. He didn’t really help himself with what he said in the interview room, but is that because he has a bigger plan in mind?

Is it possible that Dylan doesn’t want freedom at this point? Maybe he just wants to get revenge. How can he do that while in jail? I’m sure we’ll find out, and there’s a chance Riley is involved if she is in fact alive.

3. When will the Chief find out the full truth?

The Chief is dating Bruce. In fact, they’re talking marriage. And yet, this Chief has no idea that Lennon is actually Allison.

Okay, it’s clear that really only the mom knew the difference between the twins just by looking at them. It’s not surprising that someone who didn’t grow up in the same house as them wouldn’t be able to tell that difference. But the seed of doubt has been sown. How long before the truth comes out?

4. What will the cult do next?

The cult (sorry, community!) is not going to be happy about everything that’s gone down. They know that Bruce’s ex-wife wasn’t dead. Bruce just told that story when she went back to the cult.

Now she is dead thanks to Margot and Kyle. Her body has been taken and is likely going to be disposed of without anyone knowing. The cult is going to know that she’s missing, though. What will this cult do to find out the truth?

5. Who knows what Margot and Allison have done this summer?

Someone has to know what went down in that place at the end of Season 1. There’s no way we can have I Know What You Did Last Summer Season 2 without a murderer, and it’s not going to be Margot again. Chances are it won’t be Kyle, either.

Someone has to know the truth. It would make sense for Dylan and Riley to do something, but someone else could get involved. Maybe someone from the cult. Who knows what the two girls did this summer?
