I Know What You Did Last Summer has come to an end for the season. Now eyes are on what’s to come in I Know What You Did Last Summer Season 2.

As of right now, I Know What You Did Last Summer Season 2 is happening. Amazon hasn’t canceled or renewed the show. That’s not too surprising. Amazon has a habit of renewing shows a month or so after they’ve dropped.

Amazon has been making some changes recently. This YA horror series has been one of those shows that got a hybrid release. The first set of episodes dropped together and then the rest of the season followed weekly with the finale being released on Friday, Nov. 12.

We can’t set a premiere date just yet. Amazon shows tend to take 14 to 18 months between seasons. There have been delays due to the pandemic, which could affect the release of other shows in the future as Amazon tries to space out all the content.

If the renewal comes in soon enough, we could see the season premiere to happen in January 2023.
