Dear Evan Hansen DVD release date set for December 2021
There are a few movies we’re waiting for to come to DVD and Blu-ray. Dear Evan Hansen is one of them, and now we have a DVD release date.
As theaters start to open, more production studios are releasing their movies. That means we’re getting more DVD release dates, and one of the recent ones is Dear Evan Hansen.
The movie stars Ben Platt as a high school student with a social anxiety disorder. When his self-written therapy letter is stolen by a classmate who later kills himself, the boy’s family believes that the letter was written for Hansen. This leads to Hansen being pulled into Conner’s life, helping Hansen learn more about himself.
Dear Evan Hansen DVD release date
The movie now has a DVD release date. While we didn’t predict the release date for this movie, we would have said it would take about three months. However, it turns out that the release is a little earlier than we’d have predicted.
The Dear Evan Hansen DVD release date is set for Tuesday, Dec. 7. You can pre-order the movie on Amazon right now, getting it with the price guarantee. It doesn’t matter what the price is at the time of pre-order; you’ll only pay the lowest amount at the time of the official release.
There isn’t a release date for the Digital copy just yet. That’s not too surprising. The Digital releases haven’t been included for a few DVD releases recently, potentially linked to how the rentals are working during the pandemic.
The release will happen by the time of the DVD and Blu-ray release date. After all, the DVD and Blu-ray releases include combo packs so you can also get your hands on the Digital copy.
Dear Evan Hansen is coming to DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday, Dec. 7.
