Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings DVD release date set for November 2021

If there’s one Marvel movie you’ve been waiting for, it’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The Shang-Chi DVD release date is coming this month.

There are a few 2021 movies that we’ve been waiting to come to DVD and Blu-ray. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is certainly one of them. It’s one of those Disney movies that was only released in theaters rather than being available on Disney+ with Premier Access.

It’s almost time to own the new movie on DVD and Blu-ray. The date is set, and it’s coming this month.

Shang-Chi DVD release date

The release date is actually a little later than we expected. When we set the estimated date, we based it on previous pandemic releases, including Mulan. However, we based it on releases that also came to Disney+ with Premier Access.

With Disney opting for a theatrical release only, the movie got a slightly delayed DVD and Blu-ray release to help with that. Instead of arriving early November, we’re waiting until the end of the month for the Shang-Chi DVD release date.

The official Shang-Chi DVD release date is set for Tuesday, Nov. 30. You can pre-order the movie on DVD and Blu-ray via Amazon right now. This will grant you the price guarantee, so you pay whatever the lowest price is up to the release date regardless of the price you agree to when you pre-order.

There isn’t a set Digital release date yet. That’s not surprising with the way pandemic releases have been. We used to get Digital releases one or two weeks before the DVD release, but some production studios have delayed the Digital releases for the same date as the DVD release. With the DVD and Blu-ray coming as combo packs, we’ll definitely see the Digital release of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings by Nov. 30.
