The 1979 movie follows the crew of Nostromo, a spacecraft that intercepts a distress signal from a planet. The crew decides to head out to investigate, only to end up being attacked by an alien that invades the ship.

There are sequels, although none of them quite hit the fear that Alien offers. Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection are also coming to Amazon Prime Video on the same day.

Mrs. Doubtfire

Need a comedy? The late, great Robin Williams is always the man to turn to. His movies are classics, and one of them is making its way to Amazon Prime Video again. It’s all about Mrs. Doubtfire.

The movie follows a single man who wants to spend more time with his children. When he realizes that his ex-wife is hiring a nanny, he puts on an elaborate plan to become that nanny with some hilarious consequences.

The Electrical Life of Louis Wain

Based on a true story, the movie follows artist and inventor Louis Wain. When he adopts a stray kitten, he starts to paint some beautiful and extraordinary images of cats that draw people in. These paintings make him famous around the world, and this is his story.

Mayor Pete

Pete Buttigieg has one dream: to become the President of the United States. Not only would he become the youngest President, but he would also be the first openly gay President.

The documentary, Mayor Pete, looks into his life and his campaign. It’s time to see his fight for his dream, and the supportive husband by his side. There is a lot of work to do, but he’s willing to put it in.

Finding You

Need a romance? You need to turn to the last of the movies on Amazon on our list, Finding You. It’s also coming out on Friday, Nov. 12.

The movie came out in theaters in May 2021, but now you get to watch it from the comfort of your own home. It follows Finley Sinclair who travels to an Irish coastal village to study abroad for a year. Her host family runs a bed-and-breakfast, and that’s where she meets Beckett Rush, an actor who’s filming an installment in his medieval movie franchise. Of course, romance sparks between them, but will Beckett be able to transform Finley’s heart?
