State of Terror by Louise Penny and Hillary Rodham Clinton moved up the list of most sold Amazon books last week. Here’s a look at the full list.

The movement up the list is certainly notable. Not only did it move up six places, but it got into the top spot on the list. That knocked The Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles down, which actually lost two places to land in third place. Liane Moriarty’s Apples Never Fall remained in second place.

The Top 5 saw a little bit of change overall. The Wish by Nicholas Sparks lost two places to drop out of the Top 5. The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave moved up a spot to get back into this section of the list.

New J.K. Rowling book makes it to the list

There were five new books entering the list of most sold Amazon books last week. One of those was The Christmas Pig by J.K. Rowling, which entered in seventh place.

It’s not surprising the Christmas books are making their way onto the list. We’re getting to Halloween and this is when people start thinking about Christmas for their children. Paint by Sticker Kids: Christmas was also one of the new books on the list.

There are still Halloween books on the list. Little Blue Truck’s Halloween by Alice Schertle gained seven places after entering the list the previous week. Will it move up again during the last week of October?

There is also the reentry of Room on the Broom, which is a firm favorite at Halloween. It’s by the Gruffalo author Julia Donaldson and a must-have for this time of year.
