Upload Season 2 is not coming to Amazon in November 2021

There’s some bad news when it comes to the release of Upload Season 2. We won’t get the premiere in November 2021. Here’s what we know right now.

We had hoped that we’d have the second season on Amazon Prime Video by now. Filming started in January and wrapped a few months later, so there was some hope that Upload Season 2 would arrive by the end of 2021.

Because of that, we double-checked the full list of arrivals on Amazon Prime Video in November 2021. This comedy-drama series was not on the list.

Upload Season 2 release date predictions

It’s looking less and less likely that the season will arrive this year. In fact, recently, we learned that it may not arrive until 2022.

This is likely due to all the visual effects needed for the series. This is one that’s set in a digital world, and that means a lot of digital requirements are needed. It’s also set in a future where technology has advanced considerably and is used regularly in the outside world. Remember how the handphones look!

With that in mind, the post-production stage is going to take time. That means early 2022 is looking more likely. Hopefully it will be January or February.

There is a lot going on in the world of Upload. We have a lot of questions, including who killed Nathan in the first place. The first season never answered that, but it’s clear that Nora is now at risk. She’s left town to protect herself, but will she also get answers about Nathan at the same time?

Meanwhile, Ingrid uploaded herself to be with Nathan. She got a shock to find out that he’d downgraded himself. How will she react when she learns that he doesn’t want to be with her anymore?
