It’s another week, which means new books are being read around the world. The Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles enters the list of most read Amazon books last week.

In fact, The Lincoln Highway is the only new novel on the list. This isn’t all that surprising. The most read list doesn’t change that often. People tend to read the same books over and over again, whether it’s for comfort or to introduce their family members to the same books. This is why the Harry Potter books remain on the list.

However, now and then we see a new book or two make it to the list. Towles’s The Lincoln Highway has been on the list of most sold books, so it was only a matter of time before it made it to the list of most read Amazon books.

A mostly steady Top 10

The Top 10 didn’t change all that much. Liane Moriarty’s Apples Never Fall remained at the top, with the Harry Potter books taking up most of the rest of the list.

The only change was Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets moving up a spot to ninth place, knocking Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir moving down to 10th place.

There was movement further down the list, but most books moved between themselves. The entry of The Lincoln Highway pushed a few books down a spot each until The Keeper of Happy Endings by Barbara Davis,

The period novel gained a spot to get into 16th place. That led to a few books losing two places each. The Wish by Nicholas Sparks did hold onto 20th place, though. Will it gain any spots this week?
