When a massive sinkhole opens up in the middle of LA, families are separated. Those who fall into the sinkhole end up in a primeval land filled with prehistoric animals. Just how could they end up here, and how will they make it back?
On the other side of the sinkhole, people search for their loved ones. What’s going on with the sinkhole, and how can they reunite the families?
La Brea is not streaming on Amazon Prime Video
There is some bad news when it comes to streaming the series online. La Brea is not available on Amazon Prime Video for free with your Prime membership. That’s not all too surprising. This is an NBC series.
The episodes are available to stream on Hulu and Peacock.
Usually, the episodes are available to buy on Digital via Amazon Video after they air on the network. For some reason, this isn’t the case right now. However, the episodes are available to buy via other outlets. It could be a temporary issue on Amazon. We’ve seen it before where there’s been a temporary contract dispute between companies.
The series will head to DVD and Blu-ray in the future. All broadcast shows do. Hopefully, there will also be some bonus features such as deleted scenes and the gag reel. There’s no date for this yet, but we’re looking at sometime in August or early September 2022.

La Brea airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on NBC with episodes heading to Hulu and Peacock the following day.
