Is Ratched on Amazon Prime Video?

It’s Halloween, which means you’re looking for horror shows and movies to watch. Ratched is a great option, but is it on Amazon Prime Video?

Everyone knows the terrifying Nurse Ratched from One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. Now we have an origin story for the character with Sarah Paulson in the role. It’s a perfect binge-watch for Halloween 2021 with plenty of gore, craziness, and twists along the way.

Now you just need to know where the series is available to stream. Can you watch it on Amazon Prime Video?

Ratched is not streaming on Amazon Prime Video

The bad news is you can’t watch the series on Amazon Prime Video with your Prime membership. It’s not likely to ever show up on Amazon, either. Of course, I never say “never” because I have no idea what could happen to companies in the future, but I highly doubt the series will ever be on Amazon Prime Video.

Ratched is a Netflix Original Series. That should tell you where you can go to stream it. The series is only available to stream on Netflix. This is why I don’t think the series will ever make it to Amazon. There’s simply no need for Netflix to share its shows with other streaming platforms.

What about on Amazon Video? This isn’t one of those Netflix shows that got a Digital release. Not all of them do. It’s unlikely that the series will get a Digital release. This doesn’t mean it will never happen, but just keep in mind that it is unlikely. It’s also not going to happen before Halloween 2021 if that’s when you want to watch it.

We’ll be sure to keep an eye on things in case Ratched does come to Amazon Video or even to DVD and Blu-ray at any point.
