What time is I Know What You Did Last Summer Episode 5 coming to Amazon?
Amazon released just four episodes of I Know What You Did Last Summer on Friday, Oct. 15. What time can you stream Episode 5 this week?
Amazon is moving into a hybrid model for some TV shows. This isn’t necessarily Amazon’s decision, but has become a request from the shows. While it’s annoying for fans who want to binge-watch, this release method is much better for a show’s future.
We just have to look at how some broadcast shows continue to remain popular. Look at NCIS, Grey’s Anatomy, and The Flash. Their weekly formats help to keep the shows in the public eye for longer and so they end up getting longer seasons. Shows that are binge-watched are often forgotten about a few months later as the focus moves onto other shows.
And so, I Know What You Did Last Summer is getting the hybrid release that is working so well. The first four episodes are already available, and now we’re getting one new episode per week. It all starts with Episode 5 at the end of this week.
I Know What You Did Last Summer Episode 5 release time
The episode will arrive on Friday, Oct. 22. The official release time is midnight GMT because this is a global original. It’s great news for us in North America.
We can get the episode earlier than expected. There’s a good chance the episode will be released at around 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, Oct. 21. With just one episode, it’s certainly going to be worth tuning in for on Thursday night. If it’s not there at 7 p.m., keep checking. The episodes are usually released before midnight.
The threat against the teens is out there. Someone knows about the secret they hold, but who could that be? Is it the woman who we now know kept Lennon’s body for a year? Maybe we’ll get a few more answers this week.
I Know What You Did Last Summer is on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, Oct. 22.
