Alex Rider Season 2 lands a December release date and teaser

There isn’t that much longer to wait for Alex Rider Season 2. The show has landed a December release date, and we get a first-look teaser for the season.

Otto Farrant certainly captured everything we love about Alex Rider from the books. The first season was everything that we needed and more, and there’s no doubt we were all excited to hear there would be a second season.

Things have been quiet when it did come to the second season. We had worried it would be heavily delayed due to the pandemic, but that hasn’t been all that much of the case. We’re getting the second season before the end of the year.

December is certainly shaping up to be a great month for Amazon-related shows. Alex Rider is an IMDb TV Original, but the network is Amazon’s free streamer, so we get to share all about it.

When is Alex Rider Season 2 on IMDb TV?

All episodes will be available to stream on Friday, Dec. 3. You can spend the whole weekend binge-watching the show, and it’s definitely going to be worth it.

The season follows Eagle Strike, the fourth book in the series. Remember, the first season followed Point Blanc instead of opting for the first book in the series. There’s a chance the third book will be used at some other point. The great news is Alex Rider Season 3 is happening.

As well as a release date, we got the teaser for Alex Rider Season 2. The series will pick up off the back of the first season, with Alex still reeling from everything that happened during his time at the boarding school for the rich and famous.

Alex just wants to return to a normal life, but that isn’t going to be possible. When his new friend Sabina’s father, Ed Pleasance, is attacked by the man who may have killed Alex’s uncle, Alex can’t help but get back into the mystery. This time he’s cut loose from his one-time allies at the MI6 division, though.
