When Leverage was abruptly canceled by TNT back in 2012, we were disappointed. However, there was a sense of closure. The news that the series was being revived was certainly met with cheers, especially when we learned the majority of the main cast would return.

We do miss Nate, but the series has helped us grieve that loss through Sophie. And now we have a couple of new team members to get to know, and they’ve made some good impressions.

The revival is everything we’ve needed and more. Now we need to see more episodes of the series, which puts the focus on Leverage: Redemption Season 2.

Will IMDb TV renew Leverage: Redemption Season 2?

It’s hard to say what decision IMDb TV will make right now. That’s mostly because streaming platforms don’t tell us how well shows are performing. We have to wait for news about renewals.

We’re not expecting a renewal just yet, but we’re going to keep an eye out for the news. It will hopefully happen within the next month or so. We had hoped the renewal would have been confirmed before Part 2 arrived, but it’s possible that IMDb TV wanted to see just how many people would return for the second half of the season.

The response from fans of the original series has been positive. Leverage: Redemption has managed to capture the heart that the original series had even without Nate there to lead the team. It’s had the perfect mixture of drama and comedy to keep us entertained with each episode.
