Madres and The Manor are coming to Amazon tonight

The second set of Welcome to Blumhouse Chapter 2 movies are on Amazon Prime Video tonight. Make way for Madres and The Manor.

Are you ready for another weekend of scares? That’s exactly what Welcome to Blumhouse offers, and we got it last week with Bingo Hell and Black as Night. Now we’re getting it again with two more movies.

Madres and The Manor are both coming to Amazon Prime Video tonight. They’re global originals, which means they’re coming at midnight GMT tonight, Friday, Oct. 8. That’s great news for those of us in North America. The movies usually drop earlier than expected, around 7 p.m. ET.

Check in for the movies at around 7 p.m. ET tonight, Thursday, Oct. 7. If they’re not there then, keep checking each hour as they usually drop early.

What is Madres about?

The first of the two movies this weekend is set in 1970s California. It follows a Mexican-American couple that moves to a migrant farming community while expecting their first child. When the wife starts to experience strange symptoms, they initially think little of it.

Then the wife gets terrifying visions. She needs to find out if it’s related to a legendary curse. Could there be something far more nefarious going on?

What is The Manor about?

When Judith suffers a stroke, she is placed in an assisted living home. That’s when things start to get supernaturally strange, Judith has to figure out a way to survive. Of course, nobody is going to believe her about the things she’s seeing. Instead, her visions are viewed as a side effect of the stroke.

Judith needs to figure out a way to escape. Just how can she convince people she doesn’t belong in the home?

This marks the end of Welcome to Blumhouse for another year. Hopefully, there will be more in 2022.
