The Sandman by Neil Gaiman and Dirk Maggs entered the list of most sold Amazon books for the first time. Here’s a full look at the list.

Firstly, we need to update the list from the previous week. Despite it being correct at the time of publishing, the list on Amazon changed considerably at some point between last Wednesday and this Wednesday. Not sure what happened, but a lot of books are not in their original places.

One of those is Apples Never Fall by Liane Moriarty, which actually took up the top spot during the previous week, rather than Enemy at the Gates by Vince Flynn & Kyle Mills. Apples Never Fall holds onto the top spot this week.

As for The Sandman, we’re not surprised the book has suddenly entered the list. Netflix revealed the first look of the series based on the book, so viewers are now getting the book to get a look at the story. We see this happen a lot with book-to-show adaptations.

Verity up, Jailhouse Lawyer enters

There were a few new entries throughout the week. One of those was The Jailhouse Lawyer by James Patterson & Nancy Allen. It’s the latest crime thriller that is sure to keep readers at the edge of their seats.

Kiss and Don’t Tell by Meghan Quinn also entered the list. Both books sit just outside the Top 10.

An unsurprising addition is Foundation by Isaac Asimov. The book is another one that has been adapted into a TV show, heading to Apple TV+.

What about the books already on the list? Colson Whitehead’s Harlem Shuffle dropped 12 places, knocking out of the Top 15 during the week. This was the largest drop of the week, but there were other notable drops from Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir and Billy Summers by Stephen King.

Verity by Colleen Hoover gained the most places on the list. It just missed out on the Top 5, but there’s a chance it can move up there this week.
