There are some great horror movies from the past. One at the top of everyone’s list is going to be A Nightmare on Elm Street. We’re not talking about the reboot from the late ’00s, and we’re not talking about the sequels. The first two sequels weren’t bad, but after that, things went a bit downhill.

The first movie is the best, and you’re going to want to watch it for Halloween 2021. The question is where you can go to watch it.

A Nightmare on Elm Street is not on Amazon Prime Video

We start with the bad news that your Prime membership isn’t going to help you. A Nightmare on Elm Street is not available on Amazon Prime Video.

It’s also not available via any of the Amazon Channels. There are some horror classics on Shudder and STARZ, but not this one.

Instead, you’ll need to get HBO Max. At least you can grab this via Amazon Fire TV. Decider also says that it’s on Peacock.

Get the movie on Digital via Amazon Video

You can always get the movie on Digital. This means you can own it and it’s put in your Amazon Library until Amazon no longer exists. Each Halloween season, you’re not looking around for where it’s streaming. You have access to it immediately whenever you want and you only pay once for it.

You can also get the Elm Street movies on DVD and Blu-ray. There are a few collections so you can continue the full story, and even watch the reboot if you want.
