There was a lot of movement on the list of most read Amazon books last week, including the arrival of four books for the first time.

When it comes to the list of most read Amazon books of the week, there’s usually very little change. Something happened between Sept. 19 and Sept. 25. There was a lot of change to the list, with one of the Harry Potter books falling off the list entirely!

There were four new additions to the list. We can’t say they’re new books, as some of them are older books but new to the list. However, there are certainly new books that have joined the list this week.

The Fellowship of the Ring, Enemy at the Gates, and more

The new additions are toward the bottom of the list. In fact, they start with No. 16 and the last new entry is in 20th place.

The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien is likely the most notable addition to the list. It’s been out for decades and yet it has only just joined the list of most read books. This will be linked to the fact that this list is relatively new when compared to The Lord of the Rings book.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid is finally on the list. The novel has been on the list of most sold Amazon books for some time, so it was only a matter of time before it became the most read.

Enemy at the Gates by Vince Flynn & Kyle Mills and The Keeper of Happy Endings by Barbara Davis are the other two new additions.

With Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix dropping completely off the list, it’s worth noting the compete change to the Top 3. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire has taken over the top spot, with Billy Summers by Stephen King and Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir moving back into the Top 3.
