The Manor release date, cast, synopsis, trailer and more

Amazon is gearing up for the Halloween season with this year’s installment of the Welcome to Blumhouse project. The Manor is one of the four films in this year’s Blumhouse releases.
This film is written and directed by Axelle Carolyn, who directed Soulmate, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and American Horror Story‘s current season. The film is set in a nursing home, and the director told Entertainment Weekly that the inspiration came from personal experience with family members in nursing homes or dealing with dementia.
Executive producers for the film are Jason Blum, Jeremy Gold, Marci Wiseman, Lisa Bruce, Richard J Bosner, and Sandy King.
The Manor release date
Amazon Prime Video will release The Manor on Oct. 8. This is a perfect time for a new horror release as you will be in the thick of your Halloween horror viewing marathon.
The Manor cast
Barbara Hershey plays the main character, Judith Albright, and Bruce Davison plays her new friend Roland. It also stars Stacey Travis, Ciera Payton, Jill Jarson, Ashley Platz, Fran Bennett, Mark Steger, Nicholas Alexander, Cissy Wellman, Katie A. Keane, Devin Kawaoka, and Jaquita Ta’le.
The Manor synopsis
Judith Albright moves into a historic nursing home after suffering a stroke. She starts to experience what she believes are supernatural occurrences making her think that something is stalking the residents. No one believes her, so she will have to convenience them she is fit to leave the facility before something terrible happens.

The trailer below shows some pretty strange and supernatural things going on within the nursing home walls. This film is going to be one with plenty of jump scares, so get ready. Blumhouse is known for its horror films, and from the looks of this, fans won’t be disappointed.
