Is The Lost Symbol on Amazon?
Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol has gained a TV series adaptation starring Ashley Zukerman. Is The Lost Symbol streaming on Amazon Prime Video?
We’re certainly looking forward to watching the new Dan Brown adaptation. In fact, the first episode of The Lost Symbol is now available to stream online. The question for many is where they’re going to watch it.
The series is more of an origin story for Robert Langdon than a prequel series. It’s not set in the world of the movies exactly, but it does take some of the elements of Langdon’s character from the movies to create this earlier version. After all, Tom Hanks’s version was based on the books, and this new series is also based on the original source material.
It has a great cast, and the series quickly jumps into the action. So, where are you going to watch the series?
The Lost Symbol is not on Amazon Prime Video
There’s going to be a bit of bad news. The first is that you can’t stream the series on Amazon Prime Video. It’s not free with your membership.
The Lost Symbol is a Peacock series. The only place to watch it is on Peacock. Some good news is that you can get the app on your Amazon Fire devices, so at least you’re staying in one place.
It’s highly unlikely that the series will be made available to buy on Digital on Amazon Video. The series streams on NBCUniversal’s streaming platform. There’s no way that the company will want to offer up the show in other digital formats. That leads to a loss of subscribers.
Never say “never,” but it is highly unlikely that the series will be anywhere but the streaming service. No other Peacock shows have received the Digital treatment yet. We also probably won’t see it come to DVD and Blu-ray.
The Lost Symbol is only available to stream on Peacock.
