If there’s one movie we’re looking forward to it’s Everybody’s Talking About Jamie. It’s based on a true story and on a stage production.

Jamie New is just your average 16-year-old boy who wants to figure out his way through life. He has friends and family who care about him deeply. And yes, there are bullies out there.

The big difference compared to everyone else in his life is what he wants to be when he’s older. While most people want to be teachers, lawyers, doctors, and follow other mainstream careers, Jamie has other ideas. He wants to be a drag queen.

He faces some bullies, but he has a mom and a best friend by his side. And he manages to find a mentor to make his dream come true.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie release time on Amazon

The movie is a global original, which means it’s heading to Amazon Prime Video on Friday, Sept. 17 at midnight GMT. This is great news for Everybody’s Talking About Jamie in North America.

The releases work through timezones. We’re looking at the movie heading to Amazon at 7 p.m. ET or 4 p.m. PT on Thursday, Sept. 16. This isn’t guaranteed, but it happens more often than it doesn’t.
