This is a good week to have your Prime membership in order. There are some great movies streaming on Amazon Prime Video from Sept. 13 to 17.

The downside to this week is that we have to wait until the end of the week. While there are some great movies streaming on Amazon Prime Video, they’re all arriving on Friday, Sept. 17.

They’re all going to be worth waiting for. Two of them are new Amazon Original Movies, and one promises to be absolutely fabulous. The other is a movie based on a true story about a woman after World War II.

While you wait for the movies to arrive, you can always check out previous releases throughout September. We’re looking at Cinderella, The VoyeursI Know What You Did Last Summer, and much more available to stream.

Everybody’s Talking About JamieThe Mad Woman’s Ball, and more streaming on Amazon

The biggest release of the week is certainly Everybody’s Talking About Jamie. It’s based on both a true story and a stage production about a teenage boy who had one dream: to become a drag queen. This is more than just a fun career. It’s his calling, and he turns to a former drag queen to become his mentor.

Of course, he finds people against his dream or those who bully him because of it. Fortunately, he has his best friend and his mom by his side.

The Mad Woman’s Ball is the second Amazon Original Movie. The French-language movie follows a woman who is able to communicate with the dead. Of course, her family believes she’s crazy and sends her to a mental hospital in 19th century Paris.

She meets a nurse while there. The two end up forming a bond as they get ready to attend a ball at the hospital.

The third release is American Traitor: The Trial of Axis Sally, a movie that is based on the life of Mildred Gillars. Gillars lived in Germany as the Nazis took power, but she didn’t take the side of the Allied nations. She helped the Nazis, and it’s time for her trial.
