Impeachment: American Crime Story has premiered on FX. Is it possible to watch American Crime Story Season 3 on Amazon Prime Video?

If you missed the first episode of American Crime Story Season 3, you’ll want to know where you’re playing catch-up. Or maybe you just prefer streaming on Amazon in some sort of way.

The third season of the series follows Bill Clinton’s impeachment trial back in the 1990s. We all remember what the news reported, but just how did Monica Lewinsky’s affair with the president come to light? And how did it all really play out behind the scenes?

That’s something the season touches on. Lewinsky is even an EP on the season to make sure her story is told. Now you just need to know where to watch it.

Impeachment: American Crime Story is not on Amazon Prime Video

We start with a bit of bad news. The season is not available to stream on Amazon Prime Video for free. You can’t watch it with just your Prime membership.

The series is an FX show, which is a network owned by Disney. Disney owns Hulu, and all episodes go to FX on Hulu exclusively for streaming after they air on the network.

American Crime Story Season 3 is on Amazon Video

Now for a little bit of good news. You can buy the episodes on Digital via Amazon Video. Episodes are available the day after they air on FX, so you get new episodes every Wednesday.

It’s possible to get the Season Pass, which means you’re paying for the full season upfront. This is certainly worthwhile as it works out cheaper than buying individual episodes. All episodes will be made available in your Amazon Video library as soon as they’re released, so you just need to go in on Wednesdays and watch the new episode.

You keep the episodes for as long as they’re on Amazon. There’s no need to pay a monthly fee for them.

Eventually, the season will head to DVD and Blu-ray. Stay tuned for when that will happen.
