Invasion of the Body Snatchers

This is a classic. The 1956 film Invasion of the Body Snatchers is a science fiction horror adapted from Jack Finney’s novel The Body Snatchers.

In the fictional town of Santa Mira, California, alien plant spores have fallen from space. These pods eventually grow large enough to produce an identical replacement of a human being, devoid of human emotion. This film is where the term ‘pod people’ originated. The film follows Dr. Miles Bennell (Kevin McCarthy) as he uncovers the invasion and tries to stop it.

This film is a classic that has stood the test of time and is known as one of the best sci-fi horror films.

The Map of Tiny Perfect Things

The Map of Tiny Perfect Things was released in February 2021 on Amazon Prime Video and is a tale of two teens stuck in a time loop and must repeat the same day over.

This film is set in a quaint small town where Mark (Kyle Allen) relives the same 24 hours each day. He has grown custom to this life until one day something unexpected happens.
