Chicago PD Season 8 and more coming to DVD and Blu-ray this week

The first Tuesday of September brings some great TV shows and movies on DVD and Blu-ray. Here’s a look at everything arriving this week.

As we get to the end of the summer, the tail-end of fall TV DVD releases happens. After all, the networks need to get everyone ready for the next season. We get the majority of the remaining fall shows from the big networks this week.

There are also movies to look out for on Tuesday. One of the releases is one of the hottest releases of the summer, a movie that almost all DC fans were looking forward to.

Before we get into all nine DVD and Blu-ray releases happening this week, we’ll pick out some of the biggest releases to get ready for.

Chicago PD, SEAL Team, Justice League, and more

There are a few TV show releases to watch out for. Chicago PD Season 8 is one of the first, making it the last of the One Chicago shows to head to DVD and Blu-ray. The season is shorter than most due to pandemic filming delays like so many other shows in the 2020-2021 season.

Another big release is SEAL Team Season 4. This was a difficult season to watch with Bravo Team not on form, but it gave us a season full of development and intensity. We also get to meet a new four-legged member of the team, but don’t worry too much about Cerberus. The biggest heartbreak is at the end of the season.

When it comes to movies, the biggest release is Justice League. No, we’re not talking about the Joss Whedon version. We’re talking about Zack Snyder’s directorial cut finally getting a DVD release date.
