More than 40 titles coming to IMDb TV today

If you’re looking for something free to stream, you’ll want to turn to Amazon’s free streaming service. IMDb TV has 45 movies and shows arriving today, Wednesday, Sept. 1.

If you still haven’t heard yet, Amazon has a free streaming service. It’s all about IMDb TV, which brings a great selection of movies and TV shows each month. There are even IMDb TV Originals, with one of those arriving on Friday, Sept. 10.

While we wait for that, there are some great third-party movies and shows arriving. They all drop today, and you can slowly work through them up to Pretty Hard Cases drops on the streamer.

The Hunger Games, American Hustle, New Tricks, and more

We start with one of the biggest YA franchises. The Hunger Games catapulted Jennifer Lawrence into our hearts, and now you can watch all four movies on IMDb TV. Yes, we’re still salty over everything that happened to Finnick (he deserved a lot better), but the movie stuck to the books, which was important. By the way, The Expanse fans, Wes Chatham is in the third and fourth movies.

Need something that’s a little more like real life? Love a good crime drama? American Hustle is for you. Bradley Cooper is an FBI agent who ends up recruiting a conman played by Christian Bale to take down other criminals. How far is Irving Rosenfeld willing to go for the feds?

Need a TV series? There are a few dropping on the streamer today. One that you’ll want to check out is the British cop dramedy New Tricks. It focuses on a detective who has made far too many mistakes and ends up in charge of a group of older, retired cops to help get through some of the cold cases.
