The Wilds Season 2 is not coming to Amazon in September 2021

When it comes to YA shows, The Wilds certainly caught our attention. We’re still waiting for The Wilds Season 2 on Amazon Prime Video.

Amazon Prime Video is focusing more on YA shows, and The Wilds kicked off that focus. The first season brought us a mixture of LOST and Pretty Little Liars, as we figured out who put the teenage girls on the island and why.

It quickly caught our attention. Each of the teen girls got some great character development, and it’s clear there is more to come. Amazon quickly renewed the series, and filming is currently underway in Australia. That does mean bad news, though.

The Wilds Season 2 isn’t on the list of September releases. Just when could it arrive on Amazon Prime Video?

It’s going to be some time before we see The Wilds Season 2 on Amazon Prime Video. After all, the show is still filming in Australia. It can’t arrive until all episodes have filmed.

After that, the show will need to go through the post-production stage. This can take a few months, although we’re not expecting it to take as long as the likes of The Boys and Upload. The show won’t arrive until all episodes have been through the post-production stage. After all, this is a show that arrives in a binge-watch format.

We’re looking at sometime in 2022 for the show to arrive. This is on the later side between seasons for Amazon, but we can blame COVID-19 for that. The pandemic caused filming delays.
