The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 is not coming to Amazon in September 2021

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is one of the best dramedies on TV right now. There’s no doubt we want more, but there’s a bit of bad news. There’s still a wait for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 on Amazon.

We’ve double-checked the list of new releases on Amazon for September, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 is nowhere on the list. Unless there is some sort of surprise drop, there is some bad news. It means the show isn’t dropping a new season next month.

Filming is still happening as far as we know. There’s nothing new about the production schedule and it was only back in June that we got some casting announcements. Even if filming had finished, the show would be going through post-production.

While there isn’t as much post-production work as the likes of The Boys or Undone, there is still a good amount of work that needs to be done. So, when can we expect the new season to arrive?

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 release date predictions

We’re looking at sometime in 2022 for the release. There doesn’t seem to be enough time to get us the season before the end of the year. However, that’s not to say it’s all impossible. Maybe we could see The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 arrive around December 2021.

However, early 2022 is more likely. Even then, we’re probably looking more toward the middle of 2022.

A lot of shows have been delayed. It’s all COVID’s fault. There were delays to filming to begin with, and now episodes are taking longer than normal because of the COVID protocols. A show like Mrs. Maisel usually as a lot of extras and that’s not possible now. So, we’re looking at a lot of post-production work to add them in.
