We’re close to a new month, and that means looking at all the content arriving on streaming platforms. There’s some great content on IMDb TV in September 2021.

There’s a total of 51 new movies and shows joining Amazon’s free streaming platform throughout the month. Some of them are top movies you’ve likely watched over and over again. Others are new TV shows that you know you’ve wanted to check out since hearing about them.

The full list can get overwhelming. You do technically have enough time to watch everything, but it’s going to be a stretch, especially if you add Amazon’s releases in at the same time. So, you want to make sure you pick out some of the top releases.

We’ve got you covered. We’ll let you know about the movies and shows on IMDb TV you shouldn’t miss and then include the full list of arrivals throughout the month.

Pretty Hard Cases, Weeds, American Hustle, and more

We have to start with the IMDb TV Original series Pretty Hard Cases. Sam and Kelly are two detectives who take on all the difficult cases to try to fix a broken system at work. When it comes to their private lives, they’re dysfunctional messes. Their professional ambitions don’t necessarily line up with their personal needs, and it’s not like their friendship with each other really helps them. It’s a hilarious series streaming from Friday, Sept. 10.

All eight seasons of Weeds will drop in the middle of the month. It was certainly a favorite for many people back in the day, and now it’s time to watch the entire series (for the first time or again!). The series follows a suburban mother who will do whatever she can to keep her lifestyle after the death of her husband. That includes dealing weed.

Need movies? American Hustle is one to check out. The movie follows con man Irving Rosenfeld and his partner Sydney Prosser. The two are forced to work with FBI Agent Richie DiMaso to take down powerbrokers and the Mafia.

If you love dystopian movies, The Hunger Games movies are all available to stream on IMDb TV at the start of the month. You won’t want to miss out on them.
