Free Guy is now available to watch in theaters, but what if you don’t want to head there right now? Is the movie available to stream on Amazon?
If you don’t want to head to theaters right now, that’s understandable. The Delta variant continues to be a cause for concern, so you want to watch your movies from the safety of your own home. A lot of movies have released on Digital in some format, whether via a streaming platform or to rent, so is that the case for Free Guy?
Free Guy stars Ryan Reynolds as an everyday man who finds out that he’s not so “everyday” after all. He’s in a video game, although only as a background character. Well, he decides that he’s going to rewrite his story to become the hero of it, and maybe he can find romance along the way.
Not sure about where to watch it. Is the movie on Amazon Prime Video?
Free Guy is not on Amazon yet
The movie isn’t available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. As a 20th Century Studios movie, it’s not heading to Amazon Prime Video. The movie will eventually head to HBO Max under the recent contracts.
But what about Amazon Video? Is there a chance that it is available to rent on Digital right now? Not yet. The movie only released in theaters.
There is a bit of good news, though. It will eventually head to Digital and will be available to buy on Amazon Video very soon. We’re looking at some time within the next three months, around the time of the DVD and Blu-ray.
