As we get closer to another October (how?), we take a look at some of the potential horror shows to arrive. Will Truth Seekers Season 2 happen?

When it comes to horror shows, there’s something special about horror comedy. It either hits the mark or it doesn’t, and when it comes to quality, Truth Seekers definitely hit the mark. It came from Nick Frost and Simon Pegg; of course it hit the mark.

Sadly, it just didn’t get enough viewers on Amazon Prime Video. I blame part of that in the lack of marketing. It wasn’t one that was pushed as heavily as say the likes of The Boys and Carnival Row. So, the series was canceled after just one season.

Is there ever a chance that the cancellation will be reversed? Could we see the show picked up by another streamer? Here’s what we know about Truth Seekers Season 2 so far.

Truth Seekers Season 2 release date

There isn’t a release date since the show has been canceled. We’re still hoping that Frost and Pegg can come up with some other idea for a show that could turn Truth Seekers into some sort of anthology. Or even just another show that Amazon (or another streamer) will pick up.

If the show is saved, we’d see the main cast return. That means Nick Frost returning as Gus Roberts and Samson Kayo as Elton John.

Truth Seekers Season 2 synopsis

If the second season happens, we’d need to see it pick up after the events of the first season. After the attempt to open the door to the Other Side, the telecommunications network had to push out the 8G network. It was the only way to protect the world.

It turned out that the telecommunications company knew a lot more about the spirit world than it was letting on. And yes, the mobile data had a lot to do with it. Just how much did they know, and why is Gus so important to them?
