There’s a new zombie series you’ll want to check out on Amazon Prime Video. S.O.Z. Soldiers or Zombies is out now, but will there be a second season?
No matter how often zombie shows come out, there is always some sort of different take. And they tend to be thrilling rides filled with fear and horror. That’s the case with S.O.Z. Soldiers or Zombies.
It delivers another version of the zombie virus. This time, the soldiers are turned into zombies, and it’s every man and woman for themselves. Sometimes, it was easy to forget there was a drug lord out there who we were supposed to want to see recaptured!
Now the question is whether there will be more to the story. The way the series ended, there is certainly room for more. Is there anything more to come?
Has S.O.Z. Soldiers or Zombies been renewed?
As of right now, the show hasn’t been canceled or renewed. This isn’t all that surprising with Amazon. The streamer will want to see how well the show performs on the streaming platform, and it did only drop today, Friday, Aug. 6.
Some Amazon shows are renewed within a week or two of release. Others take a month or so to get their renewals. We’ll keep an eye on this one.
Is there going to be a Season 2 of S.O.Z. Soldiers or Zombies?
We don’t have a second season confirmed just yet. The foreign-language shows tend to get quietly renewed. They’re a big deal in their respective countries, but for some reason, the news doesn’t quite reach the big publications in the United States.
We’ll be keeping a close eye on the future of this series.
When does the new season of S.O.Z. Soldiers or Zombies start?
If the show is renewed, we’re probably looking at 14 months from the release of the first season. That allows time for writing, filming, and post-production. With that in mind, we’re looking at around October 2022, which would be perfect for a zombie series. It’s all about the scariest month of the year.
