Is Making the Cut renewed for Season 3?

Making the Cut Season 2 finishes on Amazon Prime Video this weekend. Will there be more from the fashion competition series on Amazon?

For the last two seasons, we’ve watched fashion designers battle it out to prove that they are the best. They’re proving they have what it takes to make their brand big.

Hosted by Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, the series follows a group of hopefuls each season. They’re given a series of challenges to show off their masterpieces and prove they’re worth investing in. At the end, the winner takes home a $1m investment into their brand, an exclusive line at Amazon Fashion, and a mentorship to grow their business to the next level.

Has Making the Cut been renewed?

We start with some disappointing news. The show hasn’t been renewed. However, Amazon also hasn’t canceled the series! The fashion series remains in limbo for the time being.

That’s not all surprising. The Season 2 finale only aired on Friday, Aug. 6. There’s still plenty of time for Amazon to decide whether there will be a third season or not. The second season was confirmed as soon as the first season dropped, so we are disappointed by the lack of news right now.

Will there be a Season 3 of Making the Cut?

We are hoping that Amazon will choose to renew the series. It is fun seeing something a little different on TV. Most competition shows are food or music based, so having a fashion show is exciting.

That being said, the lack of news right now is disappointing. Don’t rule it out just yet, though.

When does the new season of Making the Cut start?

It’s hard to say when the show could end up coming back. We need a renewal first.

It took 17 months between the first and second season, but there was a pandemic that caused a problem. Filming had to be reworked and new judges had to be found. Will the show opt to remain in one place for the third season or will traveling the world happen again? This could be the reason for the delay in renewal, and it could cause a delay in the return.

However, it is possible that we’ll see Making the Cut Season 3 by the end of 2022.
