There are times where one book just holds steady at the top of the list. Andy Weir’s Project Hail Mary has been the book on the most read Amazon books list recently.

Every now and then, we all find a book that resonates with us. We want to reread it over and over again. The Harry Potter books have been that for a very long time, routinely on the list of most read Amazon books. They remain there even now.

However, now and again, there’s something else that claims the top spot and stays there for weeks on end. Project Hail Mary is certainly the top pick for many right now, and it’s not all too surprising. One of the great things about Weir’s books is that they include plausible science mixed in with the sci-fi drama. They’re entertaining and realistic, offering us something to keep us grounded even in the middle of space.

What about the rest of the list for the week? We’ll take a look at some notable mentions before getting into the full list.

The Cellist, Golden Girl, and more

There were a couple of new additions on the list of most read Amazon books last week, with The Cellist by Daniel Silva entering the highest. It made it into the Top 15, entering in 14th place, but it could move up during this week.

The Paper Palace by Miranda Cowley Heller entered in 18th place. This book is one of Reese Witherspoon’s bookclub recommendations so there is definitely a chance that it will move up the list.

Elin Hilderbrand’s Golden Girl dropped two places, only just holding onto a place on the list. Will it keep that spot this week?
