Everything coming to Amazon Prime Video in August 2021

It’s time for another month of new content. Amazon Prime Video has a long list of excellent releases in August 2021. Here’s everything to choose from.

The biggest release of the month is likely Modern Love Season 2. We’ve been waiting a while for this release, and we only have to wait until the middle of the month.

Just like the first season, we’ll get eight standalone stories, all inspired by the New York Times column of the same name. There are all types of love for the modern-day on show, and it’s already proven to be a successful series.

It’s not the only release on Amazon Prime Video in August 2021, though.

Val, S.O.Z. Soldiers or Zombies, and more

There are some great Amazon Originals streaming on the platform during the month. Val is the first one arriving, a documentary focused on Val Kilmer. He is one of Hollywood’s most misunderstood actors, and now it’s time to document his own life and craft. He’s spent time putting together hours of footage from home movies and time spent on various sets, and now it’s time to expose the truth.

S.O.Z. Soldiers or Zombies also drops at the start of the month. This Mexican series is only going to be available with English subtitles rather than dubbing, but it’s going to be worth the watch. When a drug lord escapes prison, he thinks that he’s just going to be on the run from Mexican cops. However, he gets infected from an experiment-gone-wrong in America and now he finds out he’s a zombie with special abilities. It’s a fight for survival and not just for freedom.

The end of the month sees the release of The Courier starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Rachel Brosnahan. Set during the Cold War, a British businessman is hired by MI6 and the CIA to form a secret alliance with a Soviet spy to prevent a nuclear war.
