If you love the Purge franchise, you’ll want to check out the last movie. It takes place after the Election Year movie, which saw an initial end to Purge night. That didn’t last for too long, and now all the rules are being broken.

You likely want to watch the new movie. Right now it’s out in theaters, but there have been many movies heading to streaming services at the same time during the pandemic. Even not in the pandemic, eventually, movies head to streaming platforms.

The Forever Purge likely won’t stream on Amazon Prime Video

As a Universal Pictures movie, we’re looking at The Forever Purge probably not coming to Amazon Prime Video. The movies from the studio head to HBO Now after the theatrical release. Even during the pandemic, that’s what has happened. Just look at The Invisible Man and The Hunt.

Universal Pictures movies tend to head to HBO Now about six months after the theatrical release. We’re looking at the end of 2021 for The Forever Purge to be available to stream online.

Will it ever come to Amazon Prime Video? It is certainly possibly eventually. Movies don’t stay on one streaming platform forever unless they’re original movies. It’s something we’ll keep an eye on but it will be a few years before this happens.

However, you will be able to watch the movie via Amazon Video on Digital. This will happen around the time the movie heads to DVD and Blu-ray, so we’re looking at about three months’ time for that to happen.
