The Tomorrow War will head to Amazon Prime Video on Friday, July 2. It’s one of those movies that many have been waiting for, but if you haven’t check out the promos for it yet, you’ll want to know what it’s about.

What is The Tomorrow War about?
The sci-fi movie is set in two timelines. A man from the present day is visited by people from the future. There’s a war in the future and the people need soldiers, so this man needs to gather a group of people and take them to the future to fight the war.
It is certainly a different way of doing things. Usually, people go from the future to the past to prevent the events that would lead to the war. This time, the people from the past are recruited to help deal with the situation in the present day.
And this war isn’t against other humans. The war is against aliens.
Chris Pratt plays Dan Forester, the man called upon to gather a group to fight the war in the future. He’s a former Delta Force operator, and is willing to sacrifice everything for the future his daughter lives in. Yvonne Strahovski plays his daughter in the future, she’s the former Romeo command and a colonel in the war.
