Peter Rabbit 2 is out in theaters right now. Can you watch the movie on Amazon Prime Video? Will Peter Rabbit 2 ever come to Amazon?

As of right now, you can’t watch Peter Rabbit 2 on Amazon. The only place to watch the Sony Pictures movie is in theaters right now.

But what about in the future? What if you don’t want to head to theaters or add another streaming platform to your already ridiculously long list? Is there every a chance that it’s going to be on Amazon Prime Video?

This is unlikely for the time being. Sony Pictures movies head to STARZ after being out in theaters. This is eventually going to change to them heading to Netflix, but for 2021, the films will continue to head to STARZ. The good news is you can grab STARZ via Amazon Channels to keep everything in one place.

This doesn’t mean the movie will never come to Amazon. It’s just not going to happen for a few years at the earliest.

Will Peter Rabbit 2 come to Amazon Video?

The good news is you don’t necessarily need Amazon Prime Video to watch movies. You can often buy or rent movies via Amazon Video, and that’s going to eventually be the case for Peter Rabbit 2.

It’s not clear if the movie will head to Amazon Video to rent during the pandemic. Some of the theatrical releases have headed to Digital services to rent, but not all of them.

However, it will eventually come to Amazon Video to buy. In fact, you can currently pre-order the Digital release of Peter Rabbit 2, so it will be in your Amazon Library as soon as it is available. We’re looking at around three months for the movie to come to DVD and Blu-ray, and the Digital release will likely be around the same time.
