Dom Season 2 release date, cast, trailer, synopsis, and more
Dom has only just dropped on Amazon Prime Video, but many are now hoping for a second season. Just what do we know about Dom Season 2 so far?
Brazil’s first scripted original series did not disappoint. It’s a gritty tale based on a true story. Now that you’ve got to the end, you’ll want to know about the future of the series. That is if there’s going to be a future.
Amazon is still to cancel or renew the show. It’s not all surprising the streamer hasn’t made a decision yet. After all, the show did just drop on Friday, June 4! It can take weeks for Amazon to make a decision about the show.
While we wait, we’re looking at what we do know about Dom Season 2. As more information becomes available, we’ll be sure to update this post so make sure you bookmark it!
Dom Season 2 release date
Without a renewal, it’s hard to predict a release date. However, most Amazon shows usually have from 14 to 18 months between seasons. It is possible that we could see Dom Season 2 arrive in early August 2022 if the time frame is kept to the shortest time frame possible.
Dom Season 2 cast
There’s no reason the main cast from the first season can’t return. In fact, with the way things ended, the majority of the cast will need to come back for the second season. We expect to see the following:
- Gabriel Leone as Pedro Dom
- Flávio Tolezani as Victor Dantas
- Isabella Santoni as Viviane
- Raquel Villar as Jasmin
- Paulo de Melo as Biriba
Dom Season 2 trailer
There isn’t a trailer just yet. That’s not too surprising since the show hasn’t yet been renewed so it hasn’t been filmed. We’ll be sure to drop the trailer as soon as it arrives.
Dom Season 2 synopsis
The second season should pick up where the first left. There were a lot of secrets revealed as Pedro ran off. Jasmin is pregnant with his child, and Victor is sure that his son isn’t going to ever return considering the newspaper reports.
Those reports? There’s a photo of Pedro holding the gun to Viviane’s head as he pulled her out of the club. It was to save his life, and while Viviane wasn’t certain what he’d do, she did choose to leave with him. That isn’t the way it would look to people in the club, though.
Dom is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
