More than 40 titles are coming to Amazon Prime Video today

There are 43 new shows and movies joining Amazon Prime Video on June 1, 2021. These including Work in Progress, Chicken Run, and more.

While the month is on the quieter side overall, there is still plenty of content to watch on Amazon Prime Video today. There’s no way you’ll be able to watch everything today, so you’ll have the chance to work your way through the content during the month.

There is something for everyone on the streamer today. We start with some Amazon Channels samples, including SHOWTIME’s Work in Progress. Only the first season is available, but there’s only one season of the comedy series anyway right now! Season 2 has been confirmed. The series follows a self-identifying “fat, queer dyke” called Abby who enters a transformative life living with OCD and depression.

SHOWTIME’s The L Word: Generation Q is also available to stream on Amazon Prime Video for free during the month. The series is a revival of the original show, picking up where the characters are now and getting to know a few other characters.

Chicken Run, Signs, and more

If you’re looking for something for the kids, you’ll want to put on the movie Chicken Run. It’s a fun, animated movie that follows a rooster who finds out the farmer’s plans for him and his coop. There’s no way he wants to end up on a table to be eaten so he plots a plan to escape.

For those who want something a little more mysterious, you’ll want to check out Signs. Granted, there are some serious flaws at the very end, but this alien-invasion movie will take you on a wild ride up until that point.
