Cruella is currently available to watch on Disney Plus with Premier access. Want to wait until you can own it at home? When is the Cruella DVD release date?

Whatever you think of Disney’s Premier access on Disney Plus doesn’t really matter here. It’s what Disney has decided to do to bring the movies to homes during the pandemic.

Cruella is the latest to get this type of release. The prequel movie is set before 101 Dalmations, and it tells the story of how Cruella became the woman she was in the original movie/book.

Stone plays the titular role, who is actually initially called Estella. She’s a young, aspiring fashion designer, and we get to find out what made her become the notorious thief. What made her want the dalmatian fur so much?

When is the Cruella DVD release date?

Right now, there isn’t a set DVD release date for the movie. That’s not surprising. Disney isn’t going to set a DVD release date for a while.

However, we can say that this movie will likely come to DVD and Blu-ray even though it’s also going to head to Disney Plus as part of the subscription costs soon. Mulan and Raya and the Last Dragon both for the Premier access treatment before moving to DVD and Blu-ray.

We’re using them as a guide as to when Cruella will head to DVD and Blu-ray. It took two-and-a-half months for both movies to go from theaters/Premier to DVD. With that in mind, we’re looking at the middle of August 2021 for the Emma Stone movie to get the DVD treatment.

We’ll be sure to keep an eye on Disney’s plans for this movie. We’ll let you know when a DVD date is set.
