Things are very quiet with very little new coming over the weekend. It’s a good chance to look back over the week for new content that arrived, and there were certainly some good options there.
When it comes to content streaming on Amazon Prime Video, the weekend is going to be about binge-watching the latest Original. Panic dropped on Friday, May 28. There are 10 episodes to work your way through, so space them out over the course of the weekend.
The series is based on Lauren Oliver’s book of the same name. A group of high school students get involved in a game called Panic in the hope of winning $50,000, but will lives be put on the line to do it?
What’s streaming on Amazon Channels this weekend?
For the rest of the weekend, you’ll want to turn to the various Amazon Channels. Let’s start with the new content arriving throughout the weekend. Well, the content is arriving on Sunday, May 30.
STARZ has a new episode of The Girlfriend Experience Season 3. This is the fourth episode of the season, and you’ve still got the first two seasons to catch up on to keep you busy.
Meanwhile, HBO has the season finale of Mare of Easttown. This is a limited series, so the finale will wrap up the full story. Spend the weekend catching up on the series to watch the finale live at 10 p.m. on HBO.
If you like murder mysteries, Acorn TV has you covered. At the start of the week, Whitstable Pearl premiered with two episodes. There’s a third coming on May 31 with the rest of the season releasing weekly throughout June. The series follows local restaurant owner Pearl Nolan who opens a detective agency. She gets to work on the mysterious murder of a close family friend. She’s sure foul play is involved, even if nobody else is.
