It’s not about quantity but quality when it comes to content streaming on Amazon throughout the week. Here’s what’s coming between May 10 and 14, 2021.

There isn’t too much heading to Amazon Prime Video and IMDb TV throughout the week. While that can initially seem disappointing or that Prime isn’t worth the money, it’s worth noting that one of May’s biggest releases is heading our way at the end of the week.

It’s all about The Underground Railroad on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, May 14. The series is an adaptation of the novel of the same name with Barry Jenkins behind the wheel. Just looking at the trailer, the cinematography is more than worth checking the series out for, but the story will also be epic.

If you can’t wait that long, there are a couple of movies to check out throughout the week.

Movies streaming on Amazon Prime Video and IMDb TV this week

IMDb TV has the first arrival. American Ultra drops on Monday, May 10. Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart star as Mike Howell and his girlfriend, Phoebe. Mike learns that he’s actually been part of a high-profile CIA project that’s given him special powers. Now he needs to use those powers to protect himself from those who try to hurt him.

Saint Maud is streaming on Amazon Prime Video on Thursday, May 13. It follows Maud, a young and impressionable young nurse who follows a pious Christian lifestyle after facing a trauma. When a retired dancer with cancer needs hospice care, Maud is the one in charge, and now she is obsessed with saving Amanda’s soul from eternal damnation.

There are always Amazon Channels if there’s not quite enough to watch. Acorn TV has the series finale of Keeping Faith coming on May 10, while Wonder Woman 1984 is coming to HBO on Thursday, May 13. There’s going to be something for everyone to watch.
