The Tomorrow War teaser trailer gives us the basics of the movie

Chris Pratt has some promising content arriving on Amazon Prime Video over the next couple of years. The Tomorrow War is just the first, and we get our first look with the teaser trailer.

There is always a concern that teaser trailers and full trailers will give everything away. That’s not the case with The Tomorrow War teaser trailer. All it does is offer a first look at the story, basically telling us everything that we already know.

Pratt stars as Dan Forester in the movie. He’s joined by The Handmaid’s Tale‘s Yvonne Strahovski and Invincible‘s J.K. Simmons, who will play a scientist and Dan’s estranged father respectively. They’ll need to work together if they’re going to figure out how to help the future.

It’s not going to be an easy mission, and they’ll need to decide if the war is going to be worth fighting.

The trailer for the movie gives us just a quick look at what’s to come. We see the group of people from the future who will come to recruit new soldiers for their army. They share the news that they’re fighting a war in the future, and the enemy isn’t human.

It’s going to be up to people from the present day to head to the future and continue the fight. One thing I hope is that the movie explains why they need to go to the future to fight. Wouldn’t it make more sense to prevent the alien invasion in the first place?

Dan wants to make sure the world is a good place for his daughter, so he agrees to join the war. Just what can a high school teacher offer? Or does he have a particular set of skills?
